At the mediation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), three patients hospitalized at the Republican Medical Center in Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh) were transported to various hospitals in Armenia, the Ministry of Healthcare of Artsakh said in a statement.
Due to the Azeri blockade of the only road connecting Artsakh with Armenia, the patients were in serious condition for many days diagnosed with pulmonary haemorrhage and arteriovenous malformation; Metastatic pleural tumor, left-sided hydrothorax and lung abscess; Choledocholithiasis and liver failure.
The ICRC facilitated the transfer of the patients to Armenia.
