Director of the United States State Department’s Office of Caucasus Affairs and Regional Conflicts Mark Cameron paid his respects to the victims of the Armenian genocide by laying flowers and observing a moment of silence at Armenian Genocide Memorial in Tsitsernakaberd, the United States Embassy in Armenia said in a statement.
He also toured the Armenian Genocide Museum, where he learned more about the Armenian genocide in which 1.5 million Armenians perished, and signed the honorary guest book.
