The 4th President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian says he is committing his one-year presidential pension as a donation to the Hayastan All Armenian Fund for Artsakh support programs.
“Given the humanitarian crisis and the severe situation in Artsakh, highlighting every individual effort of supporting our compatriots of Artsakh, the 4th President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian is willing to donate the entire amount of his special pension of 2022 envisaged by law for former presidents – approximately 10,000,000 drams – to the Hayastan All Armenian Fund in support of programs for Artsakh. The former president has informed the Hayastan All Armenian Fund about his intention through a letter,” Sarkissian’s office said in a statement.
