The Russian armed forces arranged the evacuation to Russia of more than 173,000 people, including more than 44,000 children, the Russian Interagency Coordination Headquarters for Humanitarian Relief in Ukraine said.
“Without the participation of Ukraine, the Russian side has managed to evacuate 173,773 people from the areas of the special military operation in the Lugansk and Donetsk people’s republics and Ukraine to the territory of the Russian Federation, including 44,187 children,” the headquarters said.
